Everyone has a Prepaid Treasury Account with millions in it. Who knew we were all filthy rich???

in response to WontGiveUp...   Ok...in doing more research on this A4V thing, it doesn't appear that it's as easy as 1..2..3..! You have to know the law, I guess in case you go to court. There are some that say it's a scam and you could possibly get into trouble. BUT, there are others who say it absolutely does work.

Still searching.......

Everyone has a Prepaid Treasury Account with millions in it. Who knew we were all filthy rich???

in response to Bee's Knees...   Ok...after viewing several videos on A4V, here is my understanding:

You take your bill and in red ink (or some recommend that you do this on the computer) "Accepted for Value
Exempt from Levy
Have a line for your signature and date
EIN# (with no dashes)
Deposit to Treasury and charge to YOUR NAME IN ALL CAPS
SS# (with dashes)"

One person said you then flip the bill over and write "for deposit only to US Treasury"
Sign your name like you're writing a check and put "Authorized Representative"

You then put your A4V in an envelope and send it to one of the three IRS offices.
Some have luck with it, others only 50% and others say it just doesn't work.

Could it really be this easy?

Wanna Go Home, Back To Where I Belong

Anyone know where I can borrow $2300 to get my vehicle out of the shop so I can go back home? I can't take the bus because I have too much luggage..can't take the plane because it's too expensive and I can't afford the extra costs for luggage and I can't walk because it's too far (jk...wouldn't make that attempt anyway). I'm willing to pay $100 a month (I know it's not much, but it's all I have). Thank you for any help.

Does this also apply if you were born in a foreign land? I was born in Japan (father was in the military) and moved to the States before I was a year old.

What's on your heart and mind today?

It just burns me up that during these economic times that people actually are trying to scam people right here on Aidpage! I looked into one of these loans for a friend of mine who has no bank account and no collateral. I was told that they could purchase a form for $1500 or, if they are a student, they can purchase a form for $430! I asked what the forms were and the address of his website. After telling me that he is legitimate and that's the way he does business (after again asking what the forms were and his website address), he replied "I DON'T BEG YOU THAT IS THE WAY I RUN MY BUSINESS.SO DON'T BOTTER REPLYING ME BACK".

We are all on Aidpage for help in some form or another. This individual has an email address at rocketmail (is that not a clue?)!

Anyway, I feel better for getting this off my chest.....thank you all and God bless you!

What's on your heart and mind today?

in response to Journeyman...   Ok, a testimony to God's love. My temporary stay had ended and I wasn't sure what I was going to do or go. I made phone calls but because of the economy, everything was booked! The manager asked that I take our things off the property because it didn't look good for the people coming. He is a very nice man and I understood his situation, so I removed them to the sidewalk by the street, a bit away from the motel.

We were sitting there waiting for my niece to pick us up and several people had stopped to ask if we were ok and some asked if we were having a sale (there was quite a bit of stuff there!). I kept wondering how long it was going to take her because she lived on the other side of town and her vehicle wasn't in the best condition. While sitting there of course, I'm praying to our Lord for guidance because I wasn't quite sure where we were going to go.

Maybe I spaced off, I don't know. I do know it was hot, my daughter was tired and hot and I was lost in prayer. All of a sudden this woman appears....very pretty lady. She said hello, asked us what we were up to and if we were moving and where were we going. I briefly told her our situation and she asked if a couple of days in a motel would help the situation. Well, I was dumbfounded!! I said with a smile, "well, who are you?" She said, "just someone who's concerned." I said "well, where did you come from?" Well, she was driving down the street, saw us sitting there and decided to pull over to see if everything ok (she was apparently led by the Lord).

Well, to make a long story a little shorter, she reserved a room for us for seven days! Seven days! And I have an appointment (two actually) to see about permanent and/or transitional housing!

Thank you, Lord for your kindness, guidance and Erin, KW and all that shared words of encouragement!

What's on your heart and mind today?

in response to Journeyman...   KW, I so appreciate your input! I am a Christian and I do continuously pray. As a matter of fact, after dropping my daughter off at school, I then walk 1/3 mile (I know it's not a long walk) just so that I can have a conversation with Him....my time with Him.

Now I'm not making excuses, but after tomorrow noon, we will have nowhere to go. We have quite a few things we'll have to drag with us....really too much for the two of us. My vehicle is in the shop (the cost is too much...I only put it there because my ex said he would pay for it) and thought we would stay in it for now. I know that isn't safe either, but at least we wouldn't be on the streets.

I have to find permanent housing for the two of us, along with a job, or at least prove that I can pay part of the rent after 30 days, or they'll cut me off completely. Finances are limited (can you believe it costs $75 a week for public transportation to get my child to and from school? Goodness, I remember when it was $.50!) and therefore really don't have the means to search for a place where I can get involved with others.

It will take time, I know....it's just at times I get a little worried thinking about having to expose my child to the streets.

But thank you, thank you, thank you seriously for your input....I really do appreciate it. I will keep you posted when I can and I absolutely will trust in our Lord.

By the way, I appreciate your friendship.

What's on your heart and mind today?

in response to Journeyman...   Thank you, Journeyman! I have gone to the churches, even the one I attended, and they all suggested shelters that I wouldn't even consider going to. I haven't given up, it's just a day to day struggle. I'm currently in a motel and trying to come up with the money everyday so that we have a roof over our heads is very stressful.

The shelters where they screen for drugs are full and even most of the ones that are half way decent. The only ones available are the ones only the people off the streets would consider.

The strange thing is is that the system will help you if you have a roof over your head...food stamps, cash....but they will help you for 16 days with housing assistance and then you're on your own. Crazy, huh?

I even told the caseworker that we had nowhere to stay and I was told that it was my responsibility to find permanent housing for $668 and employment during the 16 day period. Now they will give $468 to find permanent housing. Nuts!

Thank you for the feedback...I appreciate it.

Many blessings to you!

What's on your heart and mind today?

I understand there is a financial crises going on, but why is it ok for a parent ad child/children to live on the streets? Why aren't there more shelters and/or temporary housing available where at least you'll feel safe? Why give an option of going to a shelter where they will let anyone off the streets stay or stay on the streets yourself? I'm burning!!!!!!
